This initiative will help to refurbish the paediatric rehabilitation ward at the Teresa Herrera Maternity Hospital in A Coruña
A Coruña, 23 May 2025. INCOGA reaffirms its commitment to solidarity by taking part, for the third consecutive year, in the major charity project “Ventana Solidaria III”. This valuable initiative stems from the collaboration between Palexco (A Coruña Exhibition and Congress Centre) and the Adcai Foundation (a foundation supporting children with acquired brain injury).
The aim of the project is to address the need to renovate the children’s rehabilitation area at the Teresa Herrera Maternity Hospital, transforming it into a “magical forest” – a more humane, welcoming environment tailored to young children, where they can feel safe, calm and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
With proceeds exceeding €40,000, the “Ventana Solidaria III” charity dinner brought together some 300 people yesterday at Palexco, including numerous representatives from the business and healthcare sectors and A Coruña’s wider community, as well as officials such as Mayor Inés Rey and the Regional Minister of Finance, Miguel Corgo. Also in attendance was Dr Silvia Seoane Rodríguez, Deputy Medical Director and Head of the Paediatric Rehabilitation Unit at the University Hospital Complex of A Coruña. Now in its third year, the event has established itself as one of the most eagerly anticipated charity events of the year in A Coruña.
A group of nine renowned, top-class Galician chefs volunteered their time to create an iconic menu for a gala dinner, which was enlivened by live performances.
INCOGA’s continued support for this cause reflects its commitment to solidarity, as well as its desire to play an active role in bringing about positive change in the community. This collaboration forms part of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility plan, which encompasses various initiatives aimed at promoting social and economic development, as well as sustainability.
