With more than 40 stalls spread over two floors, San Martín Mekatua offers a contemporary look, characterised by natural materials such as wood, dark colours and exposed fixtures and fittings. The result is a modern, functional and welcoming environment that enhances the shopping experience for visitors and offers traders a more efficient and attractive space in which to carry out their business.
Originally opened in 1884, San Martín is a symbol of the social, cultural and economic evolution of the city of San Sebastián. This process is reflected in the numerous architectural changes that culminated in 2005 with the opening of the building in which it is now located, and which has now been renovated with our intervention to remain an urban landmark.
