INCOGA has carried out the refurbishment of the new event spaces at the Palacio de la Ópera in A Coruña. The project has transformed these areas into contemporary, versatile venues equipped to host events of varying scales, whilst preserving the architectural identity of one of the city’s major cultural landmarks.
This refurbishment forms part of the Palacio de la Ópera’s commitment to the MICE sector and opens up new possibilities for hosting corporate, institutional, social and brand events in a unique setting.
Under the slogan “Where every event finds its stage”, the Palacio de la Ópera is expanding its versatility to host conventions, product launches, after-work events, gala dinners, VIP gatherings and institutional meetings, integrating reception, the main event, networking, catering and personalised service all within a single space.
Among the transformed spaces, the Salón Armonía stands out as a striking venue characterised by its brightness. It is spread over two floors connected by an imposing central staircase and has separate entrances. This layout allows for the creation of two distinct areas or the integration of both levels into a single space, depending on the format and the different stages of the event. Its circular shape and open-plan layout offer flexibility for event organisation and facilitate the combination of areas for reception, catering, networking and the main event.
The Sala Allegro has been designed as a flexible, self-contained space, suitable for social and corporate events requiring a separate venue. Its layout allows it to be adapted to different formats and organisational needs, including presentations, meetings, professional gatherings and creative projects.
With its contemporary aesthetic, this project helps to strengthen the Palacio de la Ópera’s connection with the city and the business community.
