Comprehensive refurbishment of the Sensormatic Solutions centre of excellence in A Coruña, a new space strategically located in the Marineda City business centre, the largest shopping complex in Galicia and the third largest in Spain.
The project, characterised by comfort and functionality, consisted of the comprehensive refurbishment of premises covering approximately 1,000 m2, divided into three large distinct areas: an office area, a laboratory and an exhibition space.
Work carried out by the INCOGA team:
- Creation of a removable acoustic false ceiling made of mineral fibre, which conceals the building's structure, creating a plenum for housing the installations and providing high levels of noise absorption and attenuation.
- Division of the different rooms using plasterboard-lined partition walls and soundproof glass screens.
- Installation of different flooring solutions chosen according to the use of each area. In the offices, high-traffic technical carpet made from 100% recycled fibre was installed. In the laboratory, sustainable dissipative PVC flooring was installed, which does not transmit static charges and offers excellent antiviral and antibacterial properties.
- In the showroom area, the slab and exposed installations were retained. In the central part, a unique structure made of cylindrical aluminium profiles with an imitation oak finish was created for use as a meeting room, adding warmth to the space.
- Installation of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning with exposed ducts, passive fire protection, data and voice systems.
